"Mrs. C. R. Nesbit, Resident 50 Years, Dies in Hospital
Mrs. Clarence R. Nesbit, 79, a resident of Dallas 50 years, died Monday in a Dallas hospital. Her home was at 5320 Worth.
Mrs. Nesbit was the daughter of the later Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Tinsley, pioneer residents of Garland. The city was built on the land Tinsley farmed.
She was a member of the Gaston Avenue Baptist Church, where services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dr. Harold G. Basden, pastor of the church will officiate and burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Survivors are her husband; a brother, Bill Tinsley of Altus, Okla., and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be members of the Men's Class of the Gaston Avenue Baptist Church.
