John married Barbara Hauser (b. ca. 1683) about 1705 in Switzerland. They had four sons named Samuel, George, David and Jacob. The Webers and Housers split a 150-acre tract of land they purchased from Johann Rudolph Bondeli.
John's will was proved April 29, 1755 (Lancaster County Will B1-102). His wife, Barbara, and son, Jacob, are mentioned in the will. George Weber (probably his son) was one of the witnesses of the will.
John & Barbara were probably buried at Weizenthal [the name of the Weber plantation] along with his parents. A long line of Weavers are buried in the old Weaver family burying ground there. The Weaver family stopped using this burial ground about 1850. No longer marked, the graveyard is located in a field in West Lampeter Township.
The 21 marked graves were moved to Longenecker's Reformed Mennonite cemetery in the 1930s. The other 40-odd unmarked graves remain in the field and John is undoubteldy among them.
