Death Claims Young Wife and Mother
Nellie Peck Ehrhardt, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Peck, was born in Porter county, Indiana, Dec. 28, 1899, at which place she resided until about two years ago, when the family moved to Hobart.
Nellie gave her heart to God, and became a member of the Deep River Christian church, June 20, 1918, where she remained a faithful and active member until she placed her membership with the Christian church at Hobart, May 23, 1920. She was also a member and regular attendant of the young ladies' class of the Hobart Christian Bible school, and she will be sorely missed by her teacher and classmates.
Nov. 17, 1920, she was united in marriage to Nick Ehrhardt, Jr., and after fourteen months of perfect love and happiness, she went home to her God early Monday morning, Jan. 16, 1922, after a very brief illness.
Nellie was a kind and affectionate daughter and sister, a thoughtful, loving and tender wife. Her home was always made bright for her friends and loved ones by her sweet disposition and sunny smile. She leaves to mourn her passing her devoted husband, affectionate parents and sisters, Edith, Viola and Ethel, also one brother, Linus, all residents of Hobart. She leaves an innumerable host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Christian church Wednesday morning, at 11 o'clock. Rev. J. C. Whitt officiating. Interment was at Blachley's Corners cemetery.
