Ruth was a caring, intelligent woman who had a wonderful sense of humor. She cherished her family and truly treasured her time as a mother. She enjoyed baking, especially her famous Buttermilk Fudge Cake and kept her mind active by reading and working on crossword puzzles. But most of all, Ruth's passion was quilting. She was a member of Love Apple Quilters Group, the Wenonah Depot Quilters and recently a member of a close knit group of friends who gathered weekly to quilt for over 20 years..
