Abner S. Stulce is the son of Abner and Nancy Burnette Stulce/Stults. He was a Union soldier, in Tennessee. Abner enlisted as a Corporal and ranked out a Sergeant in Company G, 5th Regiment, Tennessee Infantry. Abner was a farmer and in the 1880 Census it has he and his family living in Lynch, Texas Co., Misouri. In the 1900 Census, Abner states that he is a widower and that he is still farming. In the 1930 Census we find Abner, 89 years old, living with a nephew back in Tennessee.
Abner married Mary Rha August 6, 1865 and they had 3 children: James N. b. 1871, Violet b. 1893 and Minnie b. 1899.
