Terry was born in Nagoya, Japan on December 5, 1931 to parents Kuhei and Kin Kuwayama. She attended High School in Nagoya, Japan.
She married Robert Dale Lane in Tokyo, Japan on February 3, 1958 and has a son, Michael L. Lane. She spent 20 years as a proud wife of a United States Air Force man.
Terry enjoyed making and taught others to make Japanese needle point pictures.
She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Lane; her son Michael L. Lane; brothers Tsutomu and Yoshihiko; sister, Fusako. She is preceded in death by parents, Kuhei and Kin Kuwayama and sister, Tsuyako.
