Mrs. Alice Mae Ager, 52, of 117 Main Street, Ellsworth, died Wednesday, March 18, 1964, in Washington Hospital where she had been for the past month.
Mrs. Ager was born June 29, 1911, at Elizabeth, a daughter of Arthur A. Gumbert and the late Elizabeth Wilson Gumbert. She had resided at Ellsworth for the past 36 years.
She was a member of Ellsworth Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Ruth, wife of Harold Ames, Ellsworth; her father, Arthur A. Gumbert, the following brothers and sisters; Charles Gumbert, Ellsworth; Florence, wife of Lawson Fisher, Monongahela; Mildred, wife of Everett Dennick, Ellsworth, Harry Gumbert, Houston, Tex., George Gumbert, Ellsworth; Eugene Gumbert, Waco, Tec.; Lucille, wife of James Confer, Levittstown; James Gumbert, Bentleyville and Ralph Gumbert, Levittstown and two grandchildren. One sister, Mary, wife of Dr. W.C. Allison, Ben Avon, is deceased.
