Alice was born in Kirkland Washington and graduated from Kirkland High School. She taught school in Alaska for awhile then returned to Kirkland where she met and subsequently married Bryan Fessenden in about 1925. She had three children, Patty Rae, Elizabeth Anne and Warren Clark Fessenden. She lived in North Seattle from 1932 until 1960 when she retired. Then she and husband Bryan moved to Shaw Island in 1960 and finally to Anacortes in about 1980. She enjoyed visits by many grandchildren and great grand children.
