Brad Neil Gaines died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011. He was 24.

Mr. Gaines was a Vicksburg native who had also lived in Issaquena County.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers David Lee Gaines and George Earl Hawn Sr.

He is survived by two sons, Jack Gaines and Jacob Gaines, and their mother, Robin Causey, all of Vicksburg; his father, William G. Gaines of Winchester, Tenn.; his mother, Sherry Hawn of Vicksburg; his brother, Jacob Gaines of Florence, Ala.; his sister, Paige Ervin of Vicksburg; and grandmothers, Shirley Pettway of Winchester and Loryce McNeil of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Glenwood Funeral Home followed by burial at Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork.

Visitation will be noon Thursday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Mikie Harmon, Blake Tarnabine, Bubba McNeil, Daniel Creekmore, Ben Brasfield and Chad James. Honorary pallbearers will be George E. Hawn Jr., Larry Tarnabine, David Tarnabine and employees of Faulk's Garden Shop and Landscape.
