Mrs. Mary Villa Aamodt, 52, died at her residence sometime Thursday afternoon of unknown but natural causes.
She was born Aug. 11, 1897, in Granger a daughter of Joseph W. and Minnie Taylor Fairbourne, and spent her childhood in the Salt Lake county community.
She was married to Albert Aamodt Sept. 1, 1915 in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. During her 32 years as a resident of Murray, Mrs. Aamodt was an active worker in Murray Third L D S Ward, serving as a teacher in the Sunday school in the ward., and Relief Society. Mrs. Aamodt was a member of the Cottonwood stake Singing Mothers organization. Mrs. Aamodt was a member of the Murray Women's club and at one time was active in the Murray High School Parent Teacher Assn.
Survivors in addition to her husband, include two sons, and two daughters;(can't read) H. Aamodt, Murray, and Rodney Lee Aamodt, Richmond, Cal.; Mrs. Marion Arlene Silver, Elko, Nev., and Mrs. Shirley C. Bradford, Provo; six brothers, George, W. and Glen Fairbourne, Granger; Joseph T. Fairbourne, Bacchus; Harvey F. Fairbourne, Hunter, and Thomas and Albert Fairbourne, Salt Lake City; two sisters, Mrs. Erma Hanger, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Lyle Warr, Granger, and five grandchildren.
