GRAND COTEAU - Funeral services for Anthony Dean Nugent, age 49, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2009, in the St. Charles Borromero Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the St. Charles Cemetery.
Mr. Nugent was born in Lafayette, and was a long time resident of Cary, N C. He died on Thursday, October 8, 2009, at Wake Med Hospital, in Cary, N C, surrounded by family and cherished friends. His life was short-lived but he affected the lives of many.
Anthony was a jack-of-all-trades: an Inventor, a carpenter, a plumber and a dynamite specialist to name a few. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother; and will be deeply missed and will always be in our hearts.
Anthony is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa Husband Nugent; 2 loving sons, Christopher Dean Nugent and Matthew Ray Nugent of Cary, NC; mother, Priscilla Alleman Huval of Lafayette; grandmother, Hilda "Mom" Savoie Alleman of Lafayette; sister, Annette Nugent Ardoin of Lake Charles. .
Mr. Nugent was preceded in death by his father, Harold Nugent.
Funeral arrangements was entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau.
