Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Entombment: Azleland Mausoleum in Reno. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday with the family present from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hawpe was born Aug. 17, 1908, in Caddo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Iva Shockley Hawpe in 1990 and a son, Nolan Carl Hawpe in 1954.
Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law, Hugh Edward and Janis Hawpe of Jacksonville; step-son, T.J. Shockley of Azle; daughter and son-in-law, LaRue and James Hughes of Haltom City; brother, Lloyd Hawpe of Dallas; five grand- children; three step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two step-great- grandchildren; eight great-great- grandchildren; many nephews and nieces; and many friends.
