Naomi was born October 21, 1945 in Boyle County, KY to the late Mary C. Johnson and Carlyle Letcher.
At a young age, she professed faith in Christ and united with the First Baptist Church, Second and Walnut Streets where she was faithful in church attendance and a member of the Women's Improvement Club. Naomi loved her church and was always willing to do whatever was asked of her. She attended Bate High School.
She was united in marriage to Charles Alcorn and to that union five children were born. Her fourth child, Rodney Eugene Alcorn preceded her in death. She loved Rodney and often spoke of how much she missed him. Naomi also reared a grandson, Christopher Alcorn. She was a loving and dedicated wife and mother and was always encouraging her children to serve God and to excel in life.
Naomi was an active member of the Celestine #9 OES and the Bluegrass Assembly #1 Order of the Golden Circle. She was employed with American Greeting Inc. for 28 years.
