Minnie M. Sloan, age 80, passed away at Kaiser Hospital, March 12, 2007 following a courageous battle with Lupus.

She was born August 24, 1926 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Virgie Juanita and Charlie Linton/Leonard Tabor. She was preceded in death by brother, Virgil Tabor and, sister, Helen Smith.

She worked at J. C. Pennys as a sales clerk; Shebulet Chevrolet as a bookkeeper; and TECO for 35 years as an Accounts Receivables bookkeeper. Most of all, she was an awesome mom. Loved to golf, bowl, sew for daughters and others, crochet, garden, and loved cooking and being a homemaker.

She is survived by daughters, Linda Sloan of Madera, and Karen Pitts of Sacramento.
Two Grandsons, Jason Pitts of Spokane WA and Eric Pitts of Missouri; great granddaughter, Taylor Anne Pitts and great grandson, Owen Pitts of Spokane, WA

Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2007, 11:00 A.M. at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA. Internment to follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Kaiser Hospital Fourth Floor Nursing Staff and the Critical Care Unit for their compassion and commitment to caring for our mother.
