Mont Aaron Pack, 48, of St. Louis, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with Rev. Aaron Pack, Rev. Jeanette Pack and William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. There will also be a memorial visitation from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Building (across from Kauffman Stadium), 8701 Leeds Rd., Kansas City, Mo, 64129 and a memorial visitation on Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Friendship Assembly of God Church, 323 Marceau, St. Louis, Mo, 63111. Born July 9, 1962 in Marshall, he was the son of Rev. Aaron Pack and Rev. Jeanette Ann Miles Pack who survive of Marshall. He had lived in the Kansas City area where he was a graduate of Englewood Christian School. He was a longtime employee of J.C. Penney, working out of St. Louis the last 19 years where he was a district merchandising execution manager and prior to that he worked for Kincaid Furniture for seven years. Mont began playing the piano at the age of 9 and as a teenager started his own trio. In his younger years, he traveled with his mother to Korea, where his grandparents, Rev. Warner Miles and Rev. Elva Miles were Assembly of God missionaries, and ministered in music, helping many come to a faith in Jesus. He later traveled as a keyboard player with Sounds of Joy, from Pensacola, Fla.
The love of his parents and sisters is more than can be explained! We're so thankful he's forever finished with his terrible suffering and now, because of his faith in Jesus, is at rest in Heaven.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a longtime friend, David Pearl of the home; two sisters, Rachel Annette Schulze and her husband, J.T., of Florence, Ky., and Rev. Angelia Carpenter and her husband, Rev. Thomas, of Haskell, Ark.; three nephews; two nieces; one great-nephew; two great-nieces; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
