OCTOBER 27, 1998
Dorothy Garnet Templin of Zionsville died of natural causes Tuesday, Oct. 27, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was 97.
A daughter of James Jones and Cora Brouhard, she was born Nov. 23, 1900, in Zionsville. She was the widow of Frank Morton Templin who died Nov. 29, 1974.
Mrs. Templin worked 22 years as a labeling finisher at Pittman-Moore.
She was a member of Zionsville United Methodist Church, the Young At Heart Club, Methodist Hospital White Cross Guild , and the Joy Group Home Ec. Club.
Survivors include daughters Cora Turley of Zionsville and Jean Engledow of West Palm Beach, Fla.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was a daughter, Doris Bennett.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Flanner and Buchanan Mortuary, 105 West Pine St., Zionsville. The Rev. Robert Wright will officiate.

Interment will follow at Zionsville Cemetery.
Calling will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
Memorials may be made to Village Christian Parks in Zionsville or to Zionsville United Methodist Church.
