Leona "Teon" Cheramie Chauvin is survived by her husband, Leroy Chauvin of Houma; one son, Timmy Chauvin of Demopolis, Ala.; three daughters, Amy Chauvin of New Orleans, Tina Maier, and Mary Chauvin DuBois and her husband, Kenny DuBois of Houston; one sister, Delta and her husband, Ruben Bye of New Orleans; one sister-in-law, Janette Cheramie of Houma; five grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertoul and Ulyssia Dufrene Cheramie; one son, Peter Chauvin; one sister, Rita Trosclair; three brothers, Bertoul "Tut" Cheramie, Jr., Pat Cheramie Sr. and Nelson Cheramie Sr.; two sisters-in-law, Earline Cheramie and Mildred Cheramie; and one granddaughter Jamie DuBois.
