James L. Carnrike, 66, of 1638 MacManus St, Dallas, Tx, a native of Chemung, NY, died Saturday, May 14, 1977, at his home following a heart attack.
Born in Chemung, NY, June 14, 1930, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Carnrike, he had resided in TX for the last 5 years.
Surviving are his wife, Alta; five sons, Charles, Harry, Floyd, and Edward Carnrike, all of Dallas and Joseph Carnrike of Chemung, NY; two daughters, Mrs. Rita Donnelly and Mrs. Evalena Dorsey, both of Dallas; 30 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, William Carnrike of Waverly; two sisters Viola Alexander and Alice Wiggins, both of Waverly; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral was held this afternoon at 3o'clock at the Dudley M. Hughes Funeral Home, 9700 Webbs Chapel Road, Dallas.
Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, Dallas.
