Almas was born July 17, 1909 at Moorewood, Oklahoma and passed away February 8, 1977 after a short illness.
She moved to Herring in 1923. On November 30, 1924 she married Otto Ator at Cheyenne. They moved to Durham in 1927 where they made their home.
She was a member of the Crawford Magnolia Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother and one great grandchild,Jennifer Ellen Davis.
Survivors areher husband of the home, one daughter, Ann Crandall, Higgins, Texas; one son, Leon Ator, Amarillo, Texas; 4 grandchildren, one great grandchild, one brother, Clark Ayers, Yucaipa, California, one sister, Mrs. Marie Black, Redondo Beach, California.
Pallberers were Willis Malson, Lowell Malson, Jack Lucas, Lawrence Beckel, Ernie Davis and Bob Manhart.
Interment was in the Silent Home Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Home.
