Homesteaded 40 acres in the NE quarter of the SW quarter of Section 15, Township 18 N, Range 8 E, St Stephens Meridian, Perry Co, Ala in 1837
Joined, along with his family, the Ocmulgee Baptist Church, about 2 1/2 miles from homestead on Aug 26, 1843, along with Jerusha Bass.
His son William Thomas Farrar and Jerusha Bass were married by Rev Gary Abner McGraw on 27 Aug 1843
There is no record of Thomas Farrar having the middle name Jefferson, that comes from a Lavin Farrar, deceased in 2010, who amassed a substantial Farrar genealogy, and probably owes it's origin to the 1820 Morgan Co, Ga census of Thomas Jefferson Farrow.
However it appears that Thomas Farrar left Ga with his cousin George Young Farrar who forfeited his position as Justice of the Peace of Clark Co, sold his land and in Dec 1819 left in a wagon train for Perry Co, Ala, it appears that cousins Thomas and Henry Lansford Farrar Sr joined him, as they are not found in the 1820 Georgia Census and first appear in the 1830 census for Perry Co, Ala
