Terry D. Pickett Cardenas, 62, died Wednesday, December 01, 2010, at Hendrick Medical Center. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 3, 2010, at Central Cemetery directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home.
Born October 1, 1948 in Abilene, Terry was the daughter of John Elbert and Betty Dean (Mayberry) Simpson. She worked for the Abilene State School for twenty years until retiring in October. Terry was a breast cancer survivor and later courageously fought liver cancer.
Survivors include three daughters, Brandy Pickett of Hawley, Sindy Lambert of Austin and Stacey Neuberger of New Orleans, LA; two sons, Larry Pickett, Jr. of New York and John David Bergeron of Louisina; lifelong friend and love, Larry Pickett, Sr. of Hawley; one sister, Brenda Still of Austin; six grandchildren, Lane, Austin, Justin, Amanda, Gabriel and Rilie.
Terry was preceded in death by her mother, one sister (Glenda Still) and step father (Bill Still).
The family request that memorials be given to the American Cancer Society .
Family visitation will be Thursday, December 2, 2010, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Adams-Graham Funeral Home in Anson.
