Helen D. Hower, 92, formerly of Ossian, passed away Monday, November 29, 2010 at River Terrace in Bluffton.
She was born August 28, 1918 in Wells County, IN to the late Marvin and Phyllis (Biddle) Donaghy.
Mrs. Hower was co-owner and operator of Hower Tool from 1952 to 1969 with her husband William. She enjoyed spending her winters in Florida after her retirement and also enjoyed playing bingo and bridge.
Surviving are her son in law, Thomas Allen of Ossian; daughter, Sally Jo Miller; grandchildren, Sherri (Craig) Stoller of Warsaw; Angie (Tony) Chaney of Bluffton; Mike Allen of Ossian; twelve great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, William E. Hower; daughter, Mickey Allen and her brother, John Donaghy.
Services are on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, Indiana with calling from 11:00 A.M. till service time.
Burial will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ossian.
