Josephine Dorothy Ovies married her US NAVY husband, Jack Jones on 28 July 1951. After his Naval Duties, they started their family. First born, daughter Antoinette Mary "Toni" Jones on 8 Apr 1953, then Michael Joseph Jones on 20 Feb 1955. Tragically, 3 months and 18 days later, that sweet baby, Michael had died. It was the morning of June 8th 1955, when Jack found his lifeless baby boy's body. Cause of death - SIDS, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
Later, 3 additional daughters; Cathy Anne, Judith Mary Ann "Judy", and Patricia Kelly "Patti" Jones were born.
Unfortunately, the death of Michael broke their family into a million pieces. Josie and Jack divorced in February of 1963.
