Evelyn Trent Cheser, 82, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the Spring View Hospital in Lebanon. A native of Washington County, she was born on May 25, 1928 to the late Marion and Zelma Byrd Trent. She was a member of the Anchor Of Hope Church and a homemaker.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Joseph M. Cheser on April 3, 1984; a son, Herbert Cheser on July 31, 2009; a brother, Raymond Trent; and three sisters, Dazie Lewis, Lorene Milburn and Ruby Downs.
Funeral services were held at Carey & Son Funeral Home, Springfield, with Rev. Ricky Cheatham, the church pastor officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Richard Irizarry and Tim Benham.
