Greenville—Robert “Bob” Everett Adams,, 62, of 21 Laurel Drive, Greenville, died Saturday at his residence.
Mr. Adams was born October 30, 1933 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a son of Dovie Massengale Adams and the late Charlie A. Adams.
Survivors include his wife, Julie V. Adams; two sons, Kenneth R. Adams and his wife, Laurie of Greenville, Billy W. Adams and his wife, Gloria of Waynesboro; a daughter, Donna A. Mathis of Greenville; a brother, Amos A. Adams of Chattanooga, TN; three sisters, Lorene Jones of Melbourne, FL, Ruth Minter of Arnold, MD, Judy Ritchie of Chattanooga, TN; and four grandchildren, Julie D. Mathis, Michael Mathis, Robert K. Adams and Dakota “Cody” Adams.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Charlie A. Adams, Jr., and one sister, Ruby Meade.
A service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Funeral Service conducted by the Rev. Jerry O’Hara with burial to follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers are John McMillan, Steve Cutlip, Eric McLaughlin, Alvin Yoder, Steve McNeal and John Howard.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
