Mrs. Patricia Arant Cain, 60, of 2192 Francilla St., Orangeburg, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Northgate Baptist Church, Orangeburg, with the Rev. Tant Ehrhardt and Rev. Thomas Brookshire officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, Orangeburg.
The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
Active pallbearers will be Richard Cain, Travis Cain, Kelly Fischer, Clint Teague, Leon Zorn and Chris Arant.
She was born Aug. 2, 1943, in Orangeburg County, the daughter of the late Carroll Jacob Arant and the late Ruth Amaker Arant. She grew up in North before moving to Orangeburg. She was a member of Northgate Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late Terry Francis Cain.
Survivors include three daughters, Stacy Cain, Mrs. Hank (Terri) Goodwin, Cassie Cain, all of Orangeburg; two grandsons, Adam Polin, Zachary Polin, both of Orangeburg; three sisters, Peggy Jeffcoat of Georgia, Betty Walters, Tammy Fischer, both of Orangeburg; two brothers, Carroll Arant of Jamison, Manning Arant of North; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the residence of Terri and Hank Goodwin, 146 Gospel Hill Court, Orangeburg, and at the residence of Betty Walters, 1789 Heatherwood, Orangeburg, and at Thompson Funeral Home of Orangeburg.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
