Mrs. Charles was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church in Millersville. She was a graduate of Manor High School, and retired after 22 years of service from RCA as a tube technician. Mrs. Charles enjoyed quilting, needlework, traveling and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Charles is survived by her daughters: Kay F. Charles of Lancaster and Naomi A., wife of Elwood G. Baker of Millersville; her son: J. Stanley, husband of Patricia Charles of Lancaster; 3 sisters: Lena Hildebrand of East Petersburg, Arlene Glick of Lancaster and Virginia Yuninger of Quarryville; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Charles is predeceased by her brothers, Wilber Glick and John Glick Jr., and sisters Catherine Seitz, Elizabeth Irwin, Edith Shank Borland and Hilda Hean.
Services will be private and at the discretion of the family.
