George W. Greenfiled, aged 62 years, died yesterday afternoon at the home of his son, John L. Greenfield, 3516 Colonial Avenue, after a long illness. Mr. Greenfield had been a resident of Dallas about three years, having moved here from Colorado, Texas. He is survived by his wife and seven sons: John L., H. F., and A. V. Greenfiled of Dallas; J. M. Greenfield of Shamrock, Texas; W. D. Greenfield of Harrison, Arkansas; T. R. Greenfield of Post City; and J. E. Greenfield of Millersview, Texas. Funeral service will be held at the Ervay Street Methodist Church at 4 o'clock this afternoon. Rev. W. D. Thompson, the pastor, and Rev. J. T. McClure will conduct the service. The burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
