Beulah Mae Cummings Chambers, 90, of Cloverdale, Va., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 13, 2010. Born August 2, 1920 in Springwood, Va. to the late William Burks and Emma Craft Cummings. Beulah Mae was retired from Buchanan National Bank. She loved the Bible and taught young children in Sunday School for 40 years at Lutheran, Methodist and Church of Christ Churches. She is survived by husband, Clyde Ivan Chambers of 68 years; one daughter, Pamela Patricia Chambers, of Virginia Beach, Va.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Doris C. and Rev. Guy A. Ritter; two nephews and wife, Ivan and Nancy Ritter; and Paul Ritter. A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday November 16, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Blue Ridge Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Guy A. Ritter and Michael Carter officiating. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening November 15, 2010, at Oakey's North Chapel, 540-362-1237.
