Anna Marie Schwartz, 86, of 11 Hillcrest Road, Hegins passed away Monday morning at her home.

Born in Neckarseinach, Germany, December 26, 1923, a daughter of the late Daniel and Louise Chelisus Jooss.

Anna was a retired floor lady with the former J.E. Morgan Knitting Mills, Valley View.

She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Dennis, and a great-granddaughter Elise Masser.

Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Irvin E. Schwartz; one son, William E. Schwartz and his wife Deborah, Hegins; three daughters, Gertrude L. Masser and her husband Clarence, Dalmatia; Cynthia A. Reiner and her husband Roy, Camp Hill and Cathi A. Schwartz and her fiance, Tony Stanitis, Hegins. two sisters, Gerdi and Louisa, both of Germany; eight grandchildren, Brian and Jill Schwartz, Christopher and Kyle Masser, Kirsten Reiner, Carissa Summers, Janel Davidson, Travis Stanitis.; ten great-grandchildren, Jackie, Hunter, Jacob, William, Paije, Kyleigh, Grace, Ty, Nikolas, and Lucy.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 13th at 11:00 am from the Buffington Reed Funeral Home, Valley View with Rev. Claude Schach officiating.

A viewing was held from 9-11 am on Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
