Lee M. Anglin

Lee M. (Leo) Anglin, 65, of 861 Alpine St., died unexpectedly at 10:55 pm Thursday at the family residence.

Friends may call after 2 pm Saturday at the Hoffmann Mortuary, from where services will be held at 9 am Monday to the Church of the Nativity. The funeral cortege will the proceed to Otter Creek, where burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm Sunday at the mortuary by members of the Holy Name Society of Nativity parish.

Mr. Anglin was born Nov. 5, 1890, at Otter Creek, the son of Jerry and Hannorah McDonnell Anglin. He came to Dubuque 12 years ago. He was engaged in farming at Otter Creek. In Dubuque he was employed at Mercy Hospital.

Mr. Anglin was a member of Nativity parish, the Holy Name Society, the Rosary society and the Maquoketa Post, American Legion.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dora Stokesberry Anglin; one daughter, Miss Patricia Anglin, at home; one son, Walter Anglin, Dubuque; two sisters, Mrs. Loretta Ryan and Mrs. James (Genevieve) Cowan, both of Dubuque, and three brothers, Jerry Anglin, Maquoketa, Chris Anglin, Otter Creek and Leonard Anglin, Dubuque. he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mrs. Nellie Coakley Anglin.
