Jack Hagins, 83, died Sunday at his residence after a long illness.
He was a native of Bulloch County and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. He was a retired insurance agent and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two daughters, Loretta Williams and Donna Humphries, both of Statesboro; four sons, Sgt. John Johnson, Augusta, Sgt. Haroldene Johnson, Dayton, Ohio, and George Pride and Willie Johnson, both of Boston, Mass.; one sister, Mary Hall, Jacksonville, Fla.; and one brother, Jimmy Lundy, New York City, N.Y.
The funeral will bw held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Jones officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.
There will not be a family visitation.
