Lincoln E. Sohn, 80, of 925 6th Street, Kiel, died Tuesday evening, Dec. 1, 1998 at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born May 1, 1918 in the Town of Centerville, son of the late Julius and Ida Bebermeier Sohn. On Sept. 17, 1949 he married Marian Hanke at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel. He was employed for about 10 years at Tecumseh Products, New Holstein. Prior to his retirement in 1980 he was employed at the Kiel Foundry. Lincoln was a veteran of the US Army during World War II serving in New Guinea from 1941 to 1945.
Survivors include his wife, Marian; four children, Karen (Mike) Ludwig, Chilton, Wayne (Sherrie) Sohn, New Holstein, Richard (Kim) Sohn, New Holstein, Daniel (Mary) Sohn, Kiel; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Mildred (Roy) Sohn Sheboygan. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel with the Rev. Raymond C. Coombs officiating. Burial will be in the Kiel Cemetery.
