COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Lois Williams Alcorn, 77, of Silver Point will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 6, from the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

The family is currently receiving friends at the funeral home.

Mrs. Alcorn died on Thursday, July 2, 1998, at NHC Health Care in Smithville.

She was born on April 6, 1921, in Smith County to the late James Edward and Kizzie Jane Starnes
Williams. Mrs. Alcorn was a homemaker and a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church.

Her family includes five daughters and four sons-in-law, Janie and Kenneth Bierbaum of Clarkson, Ky., Marie and Larry Robinson of Liberty, Sharon Hendrixson of Silver Point, Jackie and Curtis Reins of Manchester, and Cathy and Danny Parker of Sparta; a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Mable Alcorn of Silver Point; two sisters, Sadie Maynard of Baxter and Deane Killebrew of Almont, Mich.; 19
grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Alcorn; two daughters, Frances Woods and Julanna Martin; three sisters, Willie Mai Williams, Clara Holman, and Grace Neal; a brother, Charlie Williams; and a grandson, Allon Clay Cook.

Pallbearers will be Steve and Jeff Alcorn, Jimmy and Mike Woods, Lynn Robinson, Charles and Terry
Martin, Marty and Shannon Parker.

Bros. Herbert Leftwich and Donnie Agee will officiate at the services.
