Agnes J. Thayer was born on September 7, 1909 at Wolbach, Nebraska, the daughter of Chris and Sophia Nielsen and departed this life on June 29, 1964 at Clinton, Iowa at the age of 54 years, 9 months and 22 days.

She was a graduate of the Wolbach High School and for many years was a licensed beautician in Wolbach, until her health forced her to retire. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and served as church organist for many years. She was a resident of Wolbach until last October when she went to Clinton, Iowa to live with her son, Walter Douthit.

She leaves to mourn her passing, two sons, Walter Douthit of Clinton, Iowa and Louis Thayer of Wolbach; one daughter, Clarice Thayer of Clinton, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Young of San Carlos, California and Mrs. Ella Herman of Salt Lake City, Utah; one brother, Harold Nielsen of Sargent; and three grandchildren.
