GAUTIER --- Victoria Cartee Baylis, 82, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, in Pascagoula.
Mrs. Baylis was born Sept. 29, 1917, in Hillsboro, Ala., and was a retired insurance department clerk for the Singing River Hospital System.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Virgil Baylis; and a daughter, Linda Joyce Hockaday.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Gerald Baylis of Ocean Springs and Steve Marshall Baylis of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Mary Sue Sisco of Washington, D.C.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. A service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Gautier with burial in Crestlawn Cemetery in Ocean Springs.
The family prefers memorials to the First Baptist Church of Gautier.
