Eva Mae Berry, 83, of Monroe died Jan. 16, 2003.
She was born on Sept. 7, 1919 in Walton County to the late Dora Adell Hardigree House and the late Johnny Marvin House. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Berry and children, Joyce Shelton Burt and Lanier Shelton.
Funeral services were held Jan. 18 at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Conner officiating.
Interment was in Eastview Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Calvin Shelton of Canoga Park, Calif. and Floyd Shelton of Monroe; sister, Florence Cheek of Oxford; brothers, J. C. House of Porterdale and Marvin House of Walnut Grove; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
