She married Kenneth Dewey Christensen, August 18, 1962 in Central Valley, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, August 17, 1972. Ken died May 27, 2009.
Colleen worked at the Murray D.I. for many years. She loved camping and fishing with her family. She was an active member of the LDS Church, where she held many callings. She loved to collect knick knacks.
She is survived by her daughter, Clover Ruby Daniels of West Valley City; two granddaughters, Alisa and Selana; brothers and sister: O'Dean and Eleanor Carrigan of Naturita, Colorado; Bernice and Rex Lawrence of Heber City; Jon and Lorene Carrigan of West Valley City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sisters: Evelyn and Lyla.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors, nurses and care giver at Copper Ridge Health Care and Bristol Hospice, for taking care of Colleen.
Grave side services will be held Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. in the Monroe City Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 260 North 400 West in Richfield, Thursday from 11:30 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
