Albert E. Baker, Jr., son of Albert and Blanch Zelpha Baker, Sr., was born July 8, 1917 at Cincinnati, Ohio. He departed from this life on May 31, 1992 at Wolbach, Nebraska at the age of 74 years.

At the age of four, he moved with his family to Los Angeles, California. Mr. Baker received his education at Los Angeles. He then entered the United States Navy for twenty years, serving during World War II and the Korean Conflict.

On August 1938 he was united in marriage to Vivian Glines at Los Angeles.

After his discharge from the Navy, he was employed as an overseer of health inspectors for the Los Angeles County Health Department. In 1972 the couple moved to Wolbach, following MR. Baker's retirement.

He was a member of the Ray Mapes American Legion Post #236 and the St. Paul Masonic Lodge #82 AF&AM.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian of Wolbach, one son, Albert E. Baker III of San Diego, California, one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Bosworth of Eureka, California, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
