Paul "Pete" Acker
BORGER - Paul "Pete" Acker, 58, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Acker was born March 30, 1945, in Franklin County. He was a member of VFW No. 1789 and Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Pat; a son, Paul Acker of Longview; a daughter, Mary Dechambeau of Stafford, Va.; two brothers, Dan Acker of Mount Pleasant and David Acker of Jackson, Miss.; and two grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson St., Amarillo, TX 79101.
