He died at the Richmond, Minnesota hospital after suffering a stroke December 1 which he failed to rally on account of his advanced age. Mr Cornwell was nearly 80 years of age and was very active up until the time he was stricken. Mr. Cornwell always resided on a farm in Wisconsin until early in 1928 when he and Mrs. Cornwell went to make their home with their son Irvin at Cold Spring Minnesota. Three other sons survive Earl of this city, Forest of Los Angeels and Ray who attended the Presbyterian Theological Seminary at Omaha, Nebraska. A daughter Ella Pearl died in Infancy. One sister Mrs. Arvila Ensign of this city also survived. Mr Cornwell was quite widely known among the early settlers. He was married to Ella White of this city and in the town of River Falls until 1900, when they moved to Beldenville, Wisconsin and later to Ellsworth.
