Yolande Marceaux, 85, of Lumberton, TX, died Tuesday, October 20, 2010. Yolande was a native of Youngsville, LA and resident of Lumberton, Nederland, and Port Arthur for the past 50 years. Yolande worked for over 20 years as a nurse for Park Place Hospital in Port Arthur and Mid-County Hospital in Nederland.
Visitation with family and friends will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland from 12 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2010 with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Heritage Funeral Home Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 8 brother, and 5 sisters. Yolande is survived by her husband Willis Marceaux; 3 sons, Glenn Marceaux, Dale Marceaux, and David Marceaux; 2 daughters, Betty Manuel and Joyce Abate; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren
