She was born on September 29,1925 in Barstow. Mrs. Abila was a member of St. Joseph's and St. Anthony Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Lady's Altar Society, the Carmelites and the Crusillistas.
Mrs. Abila was preceded in death by her son, Cepriano Abila; and her sister, Elauteria Salgado; and her parents, Demetrio and Catalina Gomez.
A Rosary was said Saturday and Sunday at Martinez Funeral Home. Mass was celebrated Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery.
