Evelyn Mary (Sweitzer) Hall, 95, of Everett, died Friday, August 12, 2011, at Chapel Pointe Health Center, Carlisle, PA. She married her husband of almost 70 years, Homer Allen Hall, on Feb. 4, 1939. He predeceased her on Dec. 10, 2008. She was born March 25, 1916, the daughter of Vera (Veneranda) Orler who immigrated to the U. S. in 1892 and Peter (Pietro Svaizer) Sweitzer, who immigrated in 1891 both from Mezzano, Austria, and the step-daughter of Steven (Sebastiano) DallaSega, also of Mezzano, Austria, who immigrated in 1902. After WWI their homeland became part of Italy. Her father died July 1916 during a thunder storm when hit by lightning when she was 3 months old.
