Ruth L. Mumper, age 84, of Milford, beloved wife of the late William R. Mumper, died on Thursday, August 12, 2010. Mrs. Mumper was born in Milford on January 9, 1926 to the late Ronald James Larkins and Marie Barbara Daniels and was a lifelong Milford resident. Mrs. Mumper was a retired bookkeeper and was employed at Connecticut Aerosol Co. for 11 years. She was a member of the Milford Senior Center. Survivors include a son, Wayne Mumper; a daughter, Penny Smith, both of Milford; two sisters, Alice Romick and Faith Sullivan, both of Milford; five grandchildren, Kimberly, Steven, Marc, Brian and Russell; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday at 10 a.m. in The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. Friends may call on Monday from 9 to 10 a.m.. Interment will be private.
