Services for Lottie Mae Baker Davis of Bogue Chitto are 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 1, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 2-7 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Brookhaven Funeral Home.



Mrs. Davis, 76, died Nov. 28, 2003, at Southwest Regional Medical Center from complicatons of West Nile. She was born in Lincoln County on Aug. 28, 1927, to Ruby Louise Dear Baker and Richard Thomas "Tom" Baker.

She was retired from Packard Electric and was a switchboard operator for King's Daughters Medical Center. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She also founded The Widowed Womens Club in the Pleasant Hill Community.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Travis "Trabo" Davis; and a sister, Nellie Rae Baker Clark.

Survivors are her daughters and son-in-law, Brenda Gale Brown, and Janice Kay Reid and Mitchell; her sister, Tommie Ruth Baker Welch of Norfield; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Pharoah McCree Baker and Liz of Bogue Chitto, Richard Thomas Baker Jr. and Dorothy of Bogue Chitto and Cecil Lamar Baker and Angelia of Hattiesburg; her grandchildren, James Earl Allred of Bogue Chitto, Michael Travis Allred and wife Tammy, Maela Danielle Alexander and Rita Carol Alexander, both of Tylertown; and a great grandchild, Alan Michael Allred of Bogue Chitto.
