BAXTER -- Funeral services for Leona Nancy Allison, 84, of Baxter will be held Wednesday, May 23, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest lawn Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Allison died today (May 21, 1990) in Cookeville General Hospital.

Daughter of thee late Monroe and Molly Rice Medley, she was born October 3, 1905 in Putnam County. Mrs. Allison was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Her family includes her husband Doyle Allison of Baxter; one daughter, Wanda Tauer of Washington, Indiana; two sons, James and Paul Allison, both of Cookeville; three sisters, Ella Billings and Agnes Phillips, both of Baxter, and Lena Boren of Taylor, Michigan; two brothers, Arlin and Ralph Medley, both of Baxter; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Harold and Craig Dore, Don Tauer, David and Stewart Allison and Ron Taylor.

Bro. Joe Britt and Bro. Charles Burgess will officiate at the services.
