He was born Oct. 5 1918 in Hopkins County, the son of Robert Lee and Minnie Rhoda Bledsoe Eppers. He married Willie Marie Tubb on Oct. 23, 1936 in Sulphur Springs. She preceded him in death on March 13 ,1997.
Mr. Eppers was a 52 year resident of White Settlement. He retired in 1984 from the Transportation Department of Container Corporation of America. He was a longtime member of Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement.
Suvivors include a son, Cecil Eppers of Aledo; a daughter, Frances Schaefer of Arlington; a sister, Pearl Vaughn of Flora; two grandchildren, Tamera Bennett and Tanya Roberts and a great grandson Brent Bennett.
Memorials may be made to Community Hospice of Texas or to the Leukemia Association.
