Earl Bartell, 53, of R.l, St. Cloud, died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, where he had been a patient for one day. He was born on May 12, 1913, in the Township of Forest, son of Frank and Dorothy Horn Bartell. Mr. Bartell was engaged in farming and carpentry work in the Township of Forest for many years. He married Alice Wick, of School Hill, on Jan. 31, 1939, at St. Nazianz. Survivors are the widow; a son, Frank Jr., of St. Ann; his father and stepmother; one sister, Mrs. Edward Wagner of R.l, Mt. Calvary; and one brother, Robert of Belaire, Md.; and three grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Lisowe Funeral Home at St. Cloud.
