Ms. Cierra Faye Byrd, age 20, passed into eternal rest September 29, 2010, at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center. She was a Bulloch County native and a graduate of Statesboro High School. She also attended Savannah State University, where she also participated in the community choir. Cierra was a member of the Holy Ground Tabernacle Deliverance Center.
Ms. Byrd leaves memories to be cherished by her mother, Murtistine Hill, Savannah, Ga.; father, Connell Byrd Sr., Statesboro, Ga.; her son, Kelcy O'Bryant Mobley, Statesboro, Ga.; her fiance, Chris Mobley, Claxton, Ga.; three sisters and a brother, Lashunda (Pastor Lance) Slater, Pembroke, Ga., Connie Byrd and Connell Byrd Jr., both of Savannah, Ga., and Jennifer Byrd, Statesboro, Ga.; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Ms. Cierra Faye Byrd will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at the Agape Worship Center, 810 West Grady Street Extension, with Elder Donald Chavers, pastor, and Bishop Linda Travette, eulogist. Burial will be in the Magnolia Baptist Church Cemetery.
